Terms and Conditions of Tarot/Rune/Bone Readings

Terms of Service

By booking the Services of The Artistic Witchery you are agreeing to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Use. You further certify that you are at least 18 years of age or if under 18, you can prove you have guardian permission for a reading.

Liability Disclaimer

~The Artistic Witchery makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the information, content, materials, or services offered by myself. By booking The Artistic Witchery’s services, you explicitly acknowledge that all readings and advice arising therefrom are provided and intended for the sole purpose of entertainment.
~The Artistic Witchery will interpret the cards to the best of their ability, will conduct the reading with honesty and openness, and if they cannot interpret the cards clearly they will tell you that.
~The Artistic Witchery will keep everything a client says and everything that is revealed in a reading 100% confidential, unless the situation is possibly life-threatening.
~The Artistic Witchery’s readings are non-judgmental, and we welcome clients of all cultures, religions, spiritual paths and sexual orientations.
~The Artistic Witchery will not do a reading for anyone under 18, unless guardian is aware and gives the okay.
~The Artistic Witchery will not give advice in areas for which they are not qualified. If the client needs a physician, psychologist, lawyer, financial advisor, accountant, or any other professional service for which the reader is not qualified, they will encourage them to seek such service from someone who is qualified in that area. (i.e. I will not do any readings for legal matters, pregnancies.)
~The intention when doing a reading is to serve the best interests of the client and all concerned without causing harm or wishing to deceive.
~The Artistic Witchery reserves the right to refuse to do any reading for any person for any reason at all with no explanation.

Payment Policy

~All in-person, video-call, and email/DM readings are to be paid for beforehand via Ko-Fi, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, or Cash (ONLY if local to me). No other payments methods will be accepted.
~Policy on lateness, cancellation and no-shows: 24-hour advance notice is required to reschedule In Person in readings and video-call readings. If you do not give me this advance notice, your fee for the appointment will be forfeited. Please take the time to email/DM me if you need to reschedule. I put this time aside for you, and if you do not show or contact me, I cannot make that time available for another client. If you are late, you will forfeit that time, your reading will finish at the originally scheduled time. There is no refund or rescheduling for no shows. I will wait 15 minutes for your late arrival, but after that I consider this to be a no-show.
~If I cannot get anything through the reading, you will be fully refunded, otherwise no refunds for these readings.
~Services Agreement: You will be remitting payment as a “Service”, not “Goods.” You’re not paying me for a product. You’re paying me for my knowledge, experience, insights, foresights, and my time. You’re paying me to set aside everything else in my life, clear my schedule and head space to dedicate entirely to you for the duration of your reading. When you order a reading, you are receiving from me a customized, personalized service, not any ordinary product.

General Return Policy for All Items

~Art commission down payments are nonrefundable once I begin the piece. If you ask for a refund BEFORE the work is started (or any supplies are bought for the physical work) I will issue the refund.
~If art commission is a physical item and arrives damaged to you, you MUST make me aware of the damage (send pictures to me as well) and I will issue a refund (for everything but price of supplies, which I will show you proof of price of, if asked).
~Once writing/editing has begun, those down payments are nonrefundable at that point. If you ask for the refund BEFORE anything is started, I will issue the refund.
~If you are unsatisfied with your spell, I will give you a 50% refund ONLY.
~If I cannot get anything through the reading, you will be fully refunded, otherwise NO refunds for readings.
~Premade spell jars are ONLY refundable when returned to me and only within 24 hours of receiving it. OR you ask for refund BEFORE anything is sent to you, I will issue the refund. (If damaged in mail, will need picture of it in box emailed to me before refund is issued. MUST make me aware of damage within 24 hours of arrival.)
~Spell jars made specifically for you are nonrefundable once made, if you ask BEFORE they are made I will issue the refund. (If damaged in mail, will need picture of it in box emailed to me before refund is issued. MUST make me aware of damage within 24 hours of arrival.)
~Custom sigil commissions are nonrefundable once started and made, if you ask for a refund BEFORE the work is started (or any supplies are bought for the physical work) I will issue the refund.
